Application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Algorithms in Mineral Processing
This R&D project focused on investigating the applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL) algorithms in mineral processing.
The primary objective of the study was to optimize crushing, screening, and physical and chemical beneficiation processes (flotation and leaching) through the automated monitoring and control of particle size distribution, prediction of mineral grades, and improvement of mineral recovery.
The findings and outcomes of this project were compiled and presented in a comprehensive technical report.
